Dear AGBU Members and Friends:

We hope this email finds you and your families well as we all look forward to enjoying the spirit of Christmas with our loved ones and to a healthier and a happy New Year.

2020 was a tumultuous year, dominated by Covid, lockdowns, unemployment, disaster and war, draining most of us emotionally and physically.  However, our community, donors, volunteers and members demonstrated their generosity, determination and commitment to overcome obstructions and continued to work diligently to help those in greater need by supporting AGBU’s continued mission by providing humanitarian aid relief to Beirut, Armenia and Artsakh.

Together, this year, with the support of our generous donors and volunteers, AGBU Toronto has:

• Provided $500,000 in Humanitarian Aid to Beirut and Armenia
• Awarded $ 27,500 in Scholarships
• Supported local charities in the amount of $11,000

Our relief programs serve as lifelines for tens of thousands of Armenians in need of our help. We are very grateful to our volunteers for their continued commitment to our mission.  This has been a critical time in the history of our nation and your contribution has been significant in helping our people carry on.

We would like to thank each of you for your generosity, continued support, dedication and tireless efforts to achieve our mission throughout the year.
